Document Status
Truth is multi-layered. Credibility is contextual. Narrative is observable — but not authoritative.
Purpose
Baron Mind Stream is not a news feed. It is an orientation system. We amalgamate the best available sources, apply disciplined filters, and publish in layers so readers can see what is happening, why it matters, and how the public is being steered.
The Five-Tier Source Model
Tier 0 — Primary Evidence (Receipts)
Role: Establish factual ground truth.
- Laws, executive orders, court filings
- Treasury/Fed/BLS/Census data
- ETF holdings data (e.g., GLD/SLV), FRED series
- Official transcripts and primary documents
Usage: triggers, charts, hard claims, “this happened” statements.
Tier 1 — Baseline Reality Reporting
Role: Establish shared factual timelines.
- High-quality reporting with editorial discipline
- Used for event chronology and confirmation of public actions
Rule: Tier 1 tells us what happened, not what it means.
Tier 2 — Credible Synthesis & Long-Cycle Thinkers
Role: Interpret patterns across time.
- Macro frameworks, long-cycle history, capital flow interpretation
- Must remain traceable back to Tier 0/1 where possible
Rule: Tier 2 may interpret — but interpretation is not a substitute for receipts.
Tier 3 — Narrative & Zeitgeist Sources (“Bacon”)
Role: Observe how the public is being emotionally steered.
- Independent commentators, viral newsletters, podcasts, advocacy media
- Used for Narrative Watch and sentiment mapping
Explicit limitation: Tier 3 is never used to prove facts.
Tier 4 — Edge Feelers / Early Signals
Role: Monitor weak signals before they surface.
- Fringe discourse, early chatter, rumors and memes
- Used only with “monitor” flags and explicit uncertainty
Rule: Tier 4 is never presented as truth — only as motion.
Claim Labeling System
Every meaningful claim is categorized to keep reality and narrative from blending.

The Cube Model
For major topics (war, migration, monetary stress, technology), we attempt to observe all faces of the cube:
- What happened? (Tier 0/1)
- Who benefits? (incentives)
- How is capital positioned? (flows, credit, assets)
- What is the official narrative?
- What is the counter-narrative?
- How is attention being steered?
Editorial Ethos
- Memory over amnesia
- Systems over slogans
- Community over ideology
- Decentralization over dependency
- Orientation over outrage
Baron Mind Stream is anti-spell, not anti-people.
